Supervision is essential to the well being and ongoing professional development of people in the helping professions. Zea Eagle and Jude Morris work with counselling students, counselling graduates, counselors in private practice, medical and allied health professionals, school chaplains, chaplains, clergy to provide their clinical and professional supervision needs either face to face or via Skype. They are both accredited supervisors with PACFA. Zea is accredited with CCAA, SU and UCA.
“I am most comfortable with an integrative approach to supervision. My philosophy of supervision is that it is a holding environment that provides a safe, respectful and collaborative space for meeting the supervisee’s developmental needs in an inspiring and challenging way; a space where the vulnerable self meets the competent self and reflection on practice is facilitated. The supervisee’s whole person – personal and professional – is invited into this space.”
‘Thanks for the helpful insights you gave me yesterday in supervision. Also the effect of your encouraging words were as an injection of a needed stimulus. I work today with renewed vigour.’ – MT
‘I admire your ability to speak truth in a healthy, gracious and assertive way.’ (Name withheld)
‘In the process of gaining a Masters in Counselling, Zea was recommended to me as a qualified Supervisor. I hoped for an atmosphere in which real learning could take place in a safe, supportive environment, and I hoped for the type of connection with my supervisor that would make this possible. What stood out for me in my experience at Let’s Talk Life were Zea’s insightfulness, encouragement, intuitiveness, spaciousness, spirituality, professionalism, honesty. I found it to be extremely worthwhile. Zea is totally committed to working with her clients and helping them learn. I will continue to seek supervision with Zea now that I am qualified.’ – AG
